The Kiwanis Club of East Geauga Ohio was chartered on 6/30/1958; one of 14 clubs of the 22nd Division (Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula counties) of the Ohio District of Kiwanis International. One charter member of the club is still active - Philip Adams. East Geauga Kiwanis celebrated its 50th Anniversary in June of 2008. From it's inception, the Club has been involved as an integral part of the local community. East Geauga Kiwanis has had a presence at the former Swiss Cheese Festival in Middlefield, the Great Geauga County Fair (with a permanent Swiss Cheese chalet), Community Days in Middlefield, events at Century Village in Burton and many other civic observances. East Geauga has provided leadership to the 22nd Division of Kiwanis with five Lt. Governors - two of whom are still active members of the club. CONTINUE.
